| | | SOLD! 1965 Ford "Ranchero Deluxe" Retro Rod "Buy it now for $14,000" SOLD!HERES ONE YOU DON'T SEE EVERY DAY! A 1965 RANCHERO RETRO ROD! Here is a stunning example of "Retro Rod". This is one HOT little Ford. The beautiful Turquoise and Pearl white Arizona body of this 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero is completely rust free top to bottom and inside and out. The chrome and all the bright work are in excellent shape. The freshly painted body features shaved door handles that are actuated by a remote key fob. The Ranchero has a reinforced sub frame with Mustang II independent front suspension with power rack and pinion and power disc breaks. The engine bay has been cleaned up with the old shock towers removed, battery relocated and inner panels welded in to give it a very clean appearance. The motor is an 90's Mustang 5.0 302Cu. In. that sports a 6AL MSD ignition with a 6000 RPM rev limiter, a Holly carburetor and electric fuel pump, fuel pressure gage, headers and 2 3/4" aluminized dual exhaust with an "H" pipe configuration. The Trans is a T-5 Top loader 5-speed overdrive connected to a 9" ford rear end. This little baby is SCARY fast! The A/C compressor is there awaiting a "Vintage Air" receiver/dryer and controls to be added. The clean interior carries on the turquoise and white theme with a freshly painted dash and white 65 mustang bucket seats and a 2004 Cadillac CTS center console. The carpet is a bit worn however and I would recommend new carpet. It is available here on eBay for $135.00. I will be glad to purchase and install it before pickup for $200.00. The car rides on 16" American racing wheels and Dunlop SP Sport D40 M2 tires, 225/50ZR16 up front and 245/50ZR16 in back. Attention to detail: even the rear drums and front rotors and calipers have been painted body color. If you want performance and big head turning appeal with out paying big bucks this baby is for you! With $18,500 invested the $14,000 price tag for such a beautifully clean RETRO ROD is very reasonable. E-mail: daveokowit@yahoo.com for more info. |
